Your privacy, in plain English.

You can read every guide and browse the whole villa without telling us anything. We only learn who you are when you choose to write to us, ask about staying, or book. We use cookies to understand how guests find us, and only after you say yes. You can say no and the site works exactly the same.

If you visit from a region whose rules require us to ask first (such as the UK and the EU), a small banner asks whether we may use cookies, and analytics only turns on if you accept. We use Google Analytics to see things like which guides are read, which pages lead to a booking, and roughly where in the world our visitors are. While it’s on, we also measure how quickly pages load on real devices so we can keep the site fast on a phone. It all helps us write better guides and improve the villa pages.

If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded, nothing is sent to Google, and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered on your own device so we don’t ask again. You can change it any time by clearing your browser’s site data for sabaisabaisamui.com.

If you fill in the reserve form, we collect the email address you give us so we can reply and keep you posted about availability. We store it securely and use it only to talk to you about your stay. We never sell it, and we never add you to anything you didn’t ask for.

In the guest portal we use your email to find your booking and show your stay details, door code, and bill. Payments are handled by Stripe, a global payments company. Your card details go straight to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.

The map on our home page is served by Mapbox. To draw the map, your browser talks to Mapbox directly, which means Mapbox may receive your device’s IP address as part of loading the map tiles.

A handful of trusted companies process small amounts of data so the site can work. Each only handles what it needs to:

• Vercel & Cloudflare — host and deliver the website.
• Google Analytics — visitor statistics, only with your consent.
• Stripe — processes payments securely.
• Supabase — stores your booking and contact details.
• Mapbox — draws the map.

Some of these companies are based outside Thailand, so your information may be handled in other countries. They are all bound to keep it secure and use it only for the service they provide us.

You can decline cookies, ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just write to us at the address below and we’ll sort it out. We keep your booking and contact details only as long as we need them to host you and meet our records and tax obligations, then we remove them.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Nothing changes quietly behind your back.
